PSALTRY CASSAVA FLOUR SUGAR COOKIES

Ingredients

150 mg Margarine 

150 grams Sugar 

½ tsp Baking Soda 

¼ tsp Salt

160g Psaltry Cassava flour

1 Egg

1 tsp Vanilla flavor 

Method of Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream 150 grams of butter alone for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the sugar to the butter and cream together for 3 minutes.
  4. Add ½ tsp baking soda, add ¼ tsp salt, add 1 egg and I tsp vanilla flavor, and mix all together to combine.
  5. Pour Psaltry Cassava Flour into the mixture and incorporate together with a spatula till well combined.
  6. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out until it’s about ¼ inch thick.
  7. Cut into desired shape with cookie cutter.
  8. Gently remove the cut out cookies from the parchment paper with a knife so they don’t break (it is a soft dough).
  9. Arrange on the baking tray and sprinkle granulated sugar over the tops of the cookies
  10. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 170°C
  11. Allow the cookies to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the parchment paper.
