PSALTRY CASSAVA FLOUR AND STARCH RICH CHOCOLATE CAKE

Ingredients

90 grams Psaltry Cassava Flour

90 grams Psaltry Cassava Starch

1tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Baking Soda

½ tsp Salt 

60 grams cocoa powder

¼ cup Vegetable oil 

½ cup  Psaltry Cassava Sorbitol (an equal volume of sugar can be substituded) 

3 Eggs

160ml Milk

Method of Preparation

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 170 °C and grease your baking dish with margarine
  2. In a bowl pour sift together the Psaltry Cassava Starch and Psaltry Cassava Flour.
  3. Add the baking powder, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and whisk all the ingredients together to combine. 
  4. Pour the canola vegetable oil and the cassava natural sugar into dry ingredients.
  5. Add the eggs and milk, and whisk all together till smooth and well combined.
  6. Pour into the greased baking pan and bake for 20 min @ 170 °C or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
